From September 25th through October 6th, Martha hops aboard Grigory
Mikheev, a scientific research vessel that will explore the west coast of
Greenland through a program called Cape Farewell. She and 40 other
artists, researchers, scientists, filmmakers, engineers, comedians,
architects, journalists will cross The Jakobshavn Glacier, one of
Greenland’s largest glaciers that is melting fast—at an alarming rate of
20 million tons of ice every day. Martha joined the 2008 journey from

place not only in the arctic but all over the globe.
